Paint correction is controlled machine polishing. It removes or reduces swirls, haze, and light surface imperfections so the clear coat reflects light cleanly again. At A1 Premium Auto Detailing, that work is a one-step machine polish priced by vehicle size: sedan/coupe $159, small SUV $179, large SUV/truck $199.
We do this at your home or office. Dylan Embry and Jacob Carmody bring the polishers, pads, and chemistry. You do not drop the car at a shop. We bring our own power and water.
What paint correction is not
Not a wash. Not ceramic coating.
It is not a wash. A wash removes dirt. Polish cuts into the clear coat just enough to level light defects. You still want a clean exterior first—or book Exterior Detail or Full Premium before or with polish when the paint needs both.
It is not ceramic coating. Coating is a separate protection product. This page is about correcting the paint surface. We will not pitch ceramic coating here. If you want a short-term hand or machine wax after polish, that add-on is $59–$79 by size. Clay bar plus iron decontamination is $69–$89 when bonded contaminants need to come off before polish or sealing.
